Mum grateful to generous public
Thanks for £2000 raised since tot’s death
The mother of a baby who passed away from a heart defect has thanked the public for their generosity as over £2000 has been raised in his name.
Heather Hinshelwood’s son Jaime Donnelly was only five months old when he tragically passed away at Wishaw General Hospital last month after the condition went undetected.
Friends and family rallied round and began fundraising for various charities in Jaime’s memory.
Heather (37) wanted to express her thanks to everyone who has contributed.
She said: “Thank you to everyone from the community for their continued support.
“Please donate anything possible in wee Jaime’s name as the pain of losing a child is unimaginable torture and I’m desperate to help others.
“The Just Giving page will remain open until October 31 and all help is greatly appreciated, and helps me in what truly have been my darkest, darkest days.
“His brothers and I miss him every minute of the day and it’s breaking my heart. I’m just lost without him.”
The mum-of-three found some comfort by recently visiting a ‘Saying Goodbye’ memorial in Glasgow.
She said: “Thanks to my beautiful friend Lynn for taking me to the ‘Saying Goodbye’ event at Glasgow Cathedral, a beautiful service. Jaime was there with us.
