No escape from your nightmares at M&D’S

- Andrea O’neill

With Halloween just around the corner Scotland’s number one scare-fest Outbreak has returned to M&D’S with a spine-chilling new theme – Night Terror.

Brand new for 2017, this totally immersive, frightening, live action, horror experience takes you on a journey through your deepest, darkest nightmares and poses the question #whatareyouafraidof? Night Terror will run every Friday, Saturday and Sunday through the month of October till the 29th and on Thursday 19th and 26th finishing on Halloween night (October 31). Brand new for 2017, the theme park also launched Darktober, giving fear-followers the chance to take a ride on five of the park’s rides in the dark between 6pm and 10pm as part of the Night Terror experience.

Matthew Taylor, managing director of M&D’S, said: “For the past three years Outbreak at M&D’S has delivered a spectacular zombie experience which evolved each year.

“This year, it focuses on a brand new scary narrative that explores what would happen if you were trapped in your own nightmares, unable to wake up.

“We are confident that Night Terror is set to be the most terrifying in the Outbreak series and we are very proud of the experience we have produced for our customers this year.

“We would like to invite anyone brave enough to find out just what they are afraid of at Night Terror this October!”

The Night Terror experience at Lanarkshire’s Strathclyde Country Park opening times are: Thursdays 6pm–10pm, Fridays and Saturdays 6pm–11pm, Sundays 6pm–10pm and Halloween 6pm–10pm.

Brave individuals under the age of 15 can be admitted when accompanied by a responsible adult.
