Make it difficult for Dons

-

David Templeton hopes Hamilton can build on their 3-1 win at Dundee by taking points from Aberdeen this weekend.

The winger scored in the Dens Park win, and hopes Accies can make it difficult for the Dons on Saturday.

He said:“it was nice to get a goal; it came at a good time at 1-0 and gave us a little bit of a cushion, even though they scored not long after.

“Previously at 1-0 we haven’t taken advantage of going ahead, so to get the second goal was vital for us, then we got the third and killed it off.

“We hadn’t been on a great run and even in midweek it wasn’t the greatest game, but we managed to get a point, which in the end kept us above Partick Thistle.

“The main thing was not to lose that game and come up here – we knew we had a good enough team to win, and the result shows that.

“It was a massive win, especially with the run of games before Thistle. We had four games where we went 1-0 up and ended up losing 2-1, we didn’t seem to finish teams off.”

Temps added:“it’s going to be a difficult game this weekend, Aberdeen are a very good side, but in previous games I think we’ve done OK against them in the cup game and the league.

“Coming to our place I think it will be tougher for them and hopefully we can get another win to keep us going forward.”
