Postponement highlights fixtures issue

Lanark face a fixtures backlog after unavailability of players by their opponents forced postponement of their fixture against Police Scotland-glasgow.

The county side have only played four fixtures in the West League 3, and sit bottom of 11 teams. They last played on October 14 when they lost 46-17 to Glasgow University Medics.

Spokesman Ken Scott said: “Games have been rearranged for the next three Saturdays when the internationals are being held. As these dates were previously kept clear, problems could lie ahead.”
