An injury-hit Biggar side fell to defeat against Kirkcaldy in a game when they were forced onto the defensive for long periods.
A Carne Green penalty gave Biggar some hope, but they were soon under the cosh as Kirkcaldy used penalties to kick for territory and then drive for the line.
Greg Wallace was first to cross, with Finlay Smith adding the conversion, before Dayle Turner added a second score.
Smith was on target with the next try by Rhys Bonner as the sides turned at 19-3.
Greg Wallace grabbed his second of the game early in the second half, followed by a try by Gavin Mckenzie, with Smith converting both.
A penalty try rounded off Kirkcaldy’s scoring at 40-3, after which Biggar added two consolation tries through Ryan Moffat and Alistair Sinclair.
