Strathaven Golf Club boasts an active membership who enjoy playing on the stunning tree-lined course.

Willie Fernie, the 1883 Open Champion, designed the original nine holes which opened for play in 1908.

The course was thereafter extended to its current 18 hole layout.

Membership of Strathaven GC gives you access to one of the finest parkland courses in the West of Scotland which has hosted a number of prestigious professional and international amateur events.

Additionally, the USGA specification greens and excellent drainage means that golf can be played year-round.

Membership allows you to play competitive and casual golf in the company of others and gives you access to the purpose built modern clubhouse facilities which plays host to a number of social events throughout the year.

The spacious clubhouse incorporates changing rooms with lockers for members and visitors, conference facilities, and comfortable bar and restaurant areas where members receive up to 10 per cent discount on their purchases.

Members also enjoy numerous competitions; ample tee times for social golf; thriving gents, ladies, junior and senior sections; excellent practice facilities and access to resident PGA Professional, Stuart Kerr and his fully stocked professional shop.

Strathaven GC has no catchment area meaning prospective members are welcome from near and far. To find out more about membership at Strathaven Golf Club, contact 01357 520421 (option 2) or email gm@strathavengc.com.
