We’re gunning for Hibs

-

David Templeton hopes Hamilton’s form run continues and they can dump Hibs for a second time this season.

Hamilton travelled to Edinburgh and stunned Easter Road with a brilliant 3-1 win back in August, and although he knows Neil Lennon’s side will be keen to make amends, Templeton says Accies are brimming with confidence.

Templeton, who scored in the 2-0 win over Rangers at Ibrox on Saturday, said:“it’s going to be another hard game, Hibs have been playing well, but we go into that one confident again, especially after the last result against them when I thought we played really well.

“Hopefully we can go into that one the exact same and I’m sure the boys will be buzzing for it as well.”

Temps says Hamilton deserved their win at Ibrox and knew they could stun Rangers.

He said:“everything clicked. When you go to Ibrox you have to defend well and you need your keeper to be on top form because Rangers are going to have the ball and create chances – it’s a massive win.

“I thought Woodsy [Gary Woods] was brilliant, he made a few good saves and kept us in it at times. But to get that first goal was a good time for us and the second one was the killer, that was the final nail in the coffin.

“We felt really confident and in the last few games we’ve played well, so we knew we could get a result.”
