St Ninian’s church

The prayer group meet on Monday and Thursday at 9.15am. Residents in Camnethan Street will be held in prayer this week.

A coffee morning is held in the hall every Tuesday, from 10 until 11.30am.

A reunion for all who attended the Youth Fellowship during 1997 and 2004 will be held on Sunday, November 26 at 7pm in the church hall.

A Guild craft night will be held on Monday, November 27, at 7.30pm in church hall, while keep fit will be held in the hall on Thursday, November 30 at 7.30pm.

The Sunday school panto to East Kilbride will take place on Saturday, December 2. Tickets cost £10, which includes the bus. Speak with Rosemary Clark to book seats.

Carols and Candles will be held in the community garden on Sunday, December 3 from 4.30 to 6.30pm.

A night church will also be held on December 3, between 7.30 and 9pm. A short service will round off the evening at 8.45pm.

A Christmas fair will be held on Tuesday, December 5, at 6.30pm in the church hall. Stalls, raffles, and a tombola will be on offer, with mince pies, tea and coffee served in the small hall.

On Sunday , December 10, at 3pm there will be a service called Light in the Darkness. It is a 30-minute service of remembering for those who feel Christmas is not an easy time and those who have experienced bereavement and loss.
