Cheque out £500 aid to town’s gala event
Organisers of the Larkhall Christmas street market were presented with a cheque for £500 by housing developer Lovell.
The money will go towards supporting next year’s Larkhall Gala Day, which will take place over the summer.
Members of the Larkhall Gala Day committee collected the cheque from representatives of Lovell attending the Christmas street market.
The Lovell team also donated 100 Lovell cupcakes to further support the Larkhall Gala Day fundraising drive.
Lovell is currently developing 54 new homes locally at Cherry Hill.
Since work began on the development, Lovell has been actively engaging with the community in and around Larkhall, making regular donations to foodbanks while also giving talks to pupils at the local primary schools about construction site health and safety.
Eva Malina from the Larkhall Gala Day committee said:“we’re delighted to receive this generous donation from Lovell. The money will be put to very good use and will help to make next year’s gala day bigger and better than ever.”
