Carol, from Uddingston, is a depute head in Trinity High School, Rutherglen. Groom James, from Uddingston, works within Thomas Tunnock Limited.

Where they met

James and Carol met at Cardinal Newman High School in Bellshill.

The wedding

The ceremony was held at St John The Baptist Church on July 13, 2017. Their reception, at Bothwell Castle Golf Club, was attended by 130 family and friends.

Attire

The bride wore a satin wedding dress with a beaded boat neck tulle overlay by True Bride, The Finer Detail, while James wore a custom-made three-piece suit from Slaters Menswear.

Bridal party

Bridesmaid was Carol’s sister, Collette Mccallum, best men were Jason Wilson and John-paul Gallacher.

Honeymoon

The newlyweds travelled to Spain for their honeymoon.
