The dark months, these are the hard ones for me; when the sun hides behind the clouds during the short hours of daylight.

It’s not so bad in December when we look forward to Christmas and New Year, but what now?

What can we do to keep us going until the days get longer and the sun gets brighter?

It’s about remembering that good things happen in the dark. Like the seeds of spring that are waiting to burst forth, like yeast that makes the bread rise, like wine that waits for the day it will be opened and poured,

God is at work in the dark months just as He is during the sunshine.

Maybe He’s preparing you for a new direction in life? Maybe for a new relationship? Maybe for a new job? Maybe for healing from an illness or from grief?

The key is trusting in faith that, even when it’s dark outside and even when it seems dark in our hearts and minds, the light of God’s love is still shining, and His faithfulness endures forever.

Jesus said:“i am the light of the world.”let that light shine in the darkness every day; ask God to shine in you today.

The key is trusting in faith that even when it’s dark, the light of God’s love is still shining . . .
