Fr. Towey urged all his parishioners to avail of the special graces to be received from attending our forthcoming parish mission between March 11-15. The theme of the mission is The Church - Do I really need it? and will be led by Fr. Jarek who lectures at a seminary in Poland and is a great preacher. Fr. Jarek will preach at mass on Saturday, March 10 and Sunday, March 11, and also from Monday, March 12, - Thursday, March 15, at early morning mass at 7am, 9.30am and 7pm.

The recent coffee morning in aid of Mary’s Meals raised £204.95. Many thanks to all who baked, came along or helped on the day.

A proposed trip to the Holy Land in September 2019 for 11 days and costing approx £1590 for half board is planned providing sufficient numbers are interested. For further details please contact Sadie on 01698 334373.

One place is available for the pilgrimage to Medjugorje on August 30-September 6, and one place is available on June 13-20.The cost is £599 for a week half board.

On Monday the Padre Pio prayer group meet after the 9.30am Mass and a silent Prayer Vigil for Life is held from 8pm to 9pm. The SVDP meet at 6.30pm on Tuesdays and the RCIA meet at 7.30pm in the small hall. On Wednesdays the divine mercy group meet at 3pm in the oratory and a prayer and praise group from 8pm-9pm. AA meeting at 8pm in the hall. The prayer garden is open Mondays to Saturdays 10am5pm. Church cleaning is on Friday mornings after mass if anyone would like to help. Sunday Masses: vigil 4.30pm, 10am, noon, 6pm. Weekday mass: 9.30am daily. Confessions: Saturday 9am-9.25am and after vigil mass. Stations of the Cross: Friday 7pm.
