Knife man jailed

A Blantyre man has been jailed for a year on charges of assault and possessing a knife.

Johnathan Black (29), of Toward Court, was sentenced at Hamilton Sheriff Court following an incident in Fernslea Avenue, Blantyre, year.

He admitted punching John Rodgers and illegal possession of a blade.
