Mpwill hostjobs fairin Larkhall

Lanark and Hamilton East MP Angela Crawley will host a jobs fair in Larkhall Leisure Centre on Saturday, May 12, between 11am and 2pm.

Employers are also being encouraged to attend the event and can book a stall – free of charge – by emailing angela.crawley.mp@ parliament.uk.

Ms Crawley said: “I am passionate about helping my constituents fulfil their ambitions, be it through work or training.

“That’s why I’m delighted to be in a position to host my fourth jobs fair since becoming an MP, this time in Larkhall.

“Too many people find themselves unemployed or underemployed through no fault of their own.

“My jobs fair will bring professionals from across a variety sectors, including vacancies within the public sector, retail as well as third sector charities to Lanark.

“It will be a fantastic opportunity for people to meet employers and apply for vacant posts.

“It’s shaping up to be an exciting day and I hope hundreds of my constituents can make it along.”
