Firm backs base appeal

High Blantyre Primary School autistic base (Hibabs) received an £880 gift from Tannochside firm EMTEC.

The money will be used to buy up-to-date equipment for their sensory room.

A spokeswoman for the base said thanked EMTEC for “such a wonderful sum of money”.

She explained: “We are currently trying to raise £20,000 for an-all new sensory room. If any other businesses would like to include the charity in their fundraising it would be greatly appreciated and would be amazing for the kids.”
