It’s a bike bonanza on family fun days

-

Cyclists of all ages had a wheelie good time at a series of family fun days recently.

The events, organised by Healthy‘n’happy Community Development Trust, were aimed at families, groups and individuals with a love of cycling, as well as those who were looking for information and ideas on how to get out and about on their bikes.

Sessions were held at Hamilton Palace sports grounds, as well as at Larkhall Leisure Centre, and were part of the Make Your Way arts, heritage and active travel project connecting communities in Hamilton, Larkhall and Quarter with Chatelherault Country Park.

As well as offering the chance to try a range of bikes for free – including electric cycles, kiddie carriers, cargo cycles and fun bikes – there was also the added bonus of some drinks and snacks to help participants power through.
