Cake and candy brings in special cash

-

Children in St Elizabeth’s Primary have raised £250 for the Hosana House and Children’s Pilgrimage Trust (HCPT).

As part of their Lenten charity support, the youngsters from 4b organised a cake and candy sale for the whole Hamilton school.

HCPT is a Uk-based charity which travels with disabled and disadvantaged children and adults on pilgrimage to the sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes in Lourdes, France.

Principal teacher at the school, Christine Emmett said:“we were so pleased for class 4b in raising £250 for such a wonderful charity as HCPT.

“Well done to everyone involved.” Pictured from left to right is class teacher Jacqueline Mcguire, pupil Claire Toolen and Kathleen Toolan of HCPT.
