Townswomen’sguildmeet
Hamilton Townswomens’ Guild held their latest meeting on Monday, April 9.
Chair Sheena Macdonald welcomed ladies and visitors to Low Waters Hall, in Eliot Crescent.
The speaker for the evening was Cheryl Goldberg and her subject was ‘Being Jewish: A Woman’s Perspective.’
She spoke of women within the home, within the Jewish community and their role at special events in the Jewish calendar.
A vote of thanks was given by Alison Rafferty.
The guild’s next meeting will be held on Monday, May 14, when Dale Gormley, accompanied by his dog Heston, will talk about ‘canine partners’.
All ladies will be made most welcome.
