The A725 north­bound be­tween High Blan­tyre and Bel­lziehill Junc­tions – in­clud­ing the Raith Underpass – is to close for two nights.

Mo­torists are ad­vised that the A725 north­bound car­riage­way be­tween High Blan­tyre Junc­tion and Bel­lziehill Junc­tion, in­clud­ing the north­bound Raith Underpass, will be closed for two nights.

The clo­sure will be from 8pm to 6am, on Wed­nes­day and Thurs­day, April 18 and 19.

As a re­sult, the A725 north­bound car­riage­way will be closed from High Blan­tyre. Signed di­ver­sion routes will be in place via Hamil­ton and Both­well.

Ac­cess to Strath­clyde Coun­try Park from the M74, A725 south­bound and Both­well/hamil­ton from Raith round­about will be main­tained.

Road users are ad­vised to plan ahead and fol­low the signed di­ver­sions.

Trans­port Scot­land say this traf­fic man­age­ment is re­quired for patch­ing re­pair works to the A725 road sur­face.
