The A725 northbound between High Blantyre and Bellziehill Junctions – including the Raith Underpass – is to close for two nights.
Motorists are advised that the A725 northbound carriageway between High Blantyre Junction and Bellziehill Junction, including the northbound Raith Underpass, will be closed for two nights.
The closure will be from 8pm to 6am, on Wednesday and Thursday, April 18 and 19.
As a result, the A725 northbound carriageway will be closed from High Blantyre. Signed diversion routes will be in place via Hamilton and Bothwell.
Access to Strathclyde Country Park from the M74, A725 southbound and Bothwell/hamilton from Raith roundabout will be maintained.
Road users are advised to plan ahead and follow the signed diversions.
Transport Scotland say this traffic management is required for patching repair works to the A725 road surface.
