‘Birdies’ concert raises £400for charity

Songstress Linda Ormiston and her singing ‘Birdies’ provided a lighthearted musical evening at St Mary’s Episcopal Church, Hamilton, recently.

The concer t was organised by the social group and the money raised will be sent to two musical charities.

Those benefitting will be Music in Hospitals & Care and Playlist for Life, both of whom will receive £200.

A church spokeswoman said: “Many thanks to the ‘Birdies’ for proving such an entertaining evening.”
