Charity tea party
Guide Dogs are hosting a tea party in Hamilton next week where people can find out more about the charity’s work and how to get involved.
People are invited along to their on Auchingramont Road on Friday, April 20, between 10.30am and 1pm for tea, coffee and home baking.
There will also be Guide Dogs merchandise for sale and a chance to find out about volunteering opportunities.
Community fundraiser Tammy Robinson said: “Entry to our tea party is free and we invite people to drop in for a cup of tea and a chat.
“It will also be an opportunity to meet with staff members and find out about the local volunteering opportunities.
“There are lots of ways people in Hamilton can support Guide Dogs, including raising a guide dog puppy for a year, speaking about Guide Dogs at community groups, joining our local fundraising group or helping someone with sight loss to get out and about.”
