Natural history talk in town
Hamilton Natural History Society’s series of talks continues tomorrow (Friday, April 13).
John-james Atkinson and Kenneth Green will discuss ‘Recent Pre-historic Discoveries in Hamilton and Kilmarnock’.
Get along to Hamilton Old Parish Church Halls, Leechlee Road, Hamilton at 7.30pm.
Entrance is free for members and 50p for nonmembers, which can be paid at the door.
This includes tea, coffee and biscuits. Non-members will be made most welcome.
The society have drawn up a programme of summer outings, where visits to sites of natural and/or Archaeological interests are planned.
They will be going to the Kirkintilloch area on Saturday, May 12. Everyone is welcome to come along to meet the members and find out a bit about the society and its aims.
