Nat­u­ral his­tory talk in town

Hamil­ton Nat­u­ral His­tory So­ci­ety’s se­ries of talks con­tin­ues to­mor­row (Fri­day, April 13).

John-james Atkin­son and Ken­neth Green will dis­cuss ‘Re­cent Pre-his­toric Dis­cov­er­ies in Hamil­ton and Kil­marnock’.

Get along to Hamil­ton Old Par­ish Church Halls, Leech­lee Road, Hamil­ton at 7.30pm.

En­trance is free for mem­bers and 50p for non­mem­bers, which can be paid at the door.

This in­cludes tea, cof­fee and bis­cuits. Non-mem­bers will be made most wel­come.

The so­ci­ety have drawn up a pro­gramme of sum­mer out­ings, where vis­its to sites of nat­u­ral and/or Ar­chae­o­log­i­cal in­ter­ests are planned.

They will be go­ing to the Kirk­in­til­loch area on Satur­day, May 12. Ev­ery­one is wel­come to come along to meet the mem­bers and find out a bit about the so­ci­ety and its aims.
