Taylor pupils had fun on the slopes

-

These Taylor High pupils recently enjoyed a trip to the slopes of Italy.

The second-years visited Pila with the PE department.

A school spokesperson said: “our young people enjoyed the slopes. Many were unable to ski at the start and became pros by the end of the week.

“They relaxed in the evenings with some activities such as eating Italian pizza and dancing the night away with a disco.

“An absolutely fantastic time was had by all, our young people were a credit to Taylor High and Scotland.”

Meanwhile, the Kickstart Theatre Company visited Taylor High as part of their tour of secondary schools in North Lanarkshire.

The talented actors showcased their production about making the right lifestyle choices to the third-year cohort. The play focuses around the issues of under-age drinking, anti-social behaviour, drug abuse, and issues surrounding social media.

It taught key lessons to the children, to help them make the right decision if they come across challenging issues.
