Snappers shaded inclub contest

Motherwell Photographic Society travelled to Strathaven Camera Club for the annual ‘match an image’ competition.

The event revolves around one club showing an image, with the second team trying to present another that matches it.

At the end of the evening Strathaven were the winners by a three-point margin. Motherwell’s club president, Brian Saberton, thanked Strathaven for their hospitality, especially the wonderful home baking, and invited them to Motherwell for next year’s event.

Tonight’s meeting (Thursday, April 12) will be back in Holytown for the annual Hugh Shaw Memorial Print competition.

Motherwell Photographic Society meet on Thursdays at 7.30pm in Holytown Community Centre, Stevenston Street, Holytown. Anyone with an interest in photography, no matter your level, is welcome to attend the meetings.
