Bowlers hit the big 150

Bothwell Bowling Club celebrated their 150th anniversary with a civic reception in the council buildings in Hamilton.

The event was hosted by Provost Ian Mcallan and councillors Maureen Devlin, Kevin Mccreary and Jim Mcguigan also attended.

President Kevin Moore was accompanied by club members who all enjoyed the evening.

Mr Moore said “the club is an important part of village life in Bothwell and we are always looking for new members. With local support, the club will continue to flourish and will hopefully be around for another 150 years.”
