Will you be watching the Commonwealth Games?

Last week the Commonwealth Games kicked off in Australia. Our reporter Kirsten Mcstay went into the town centre to ask our readers if they will be following Scotland’s progress throughout the event. Anne Steele (60) from Hamilton said:“i watched the opening ceremony and it looked great. I am travelling to Australia this year so it got me really excited. I hope everyone in Team Scotland does well.” Elizabeth Caldwell from Lanark said:“i hope everyone taking part does well. I will be following it on the news.” Scott Allan from Strathaven said:“i watched the opening ceremony and it was really good. I really like watching the swimming and athletics. I hope that Scotland do well.” Michael White (40) from Motherwell said:“it’s really nice to see local people take part in such a brilliant event. I hope Team Scotland do well.”
