Pupils are well read

Pupils from St Elizabeth’s Primary in Hamilton marked the 11th National World Book Day in March 2008, when they went to school dressed as characters from their favourite books. David Marshall and Adrian Laird, both three, showed off some of the items available at the then-new Hamilton Toy Lending Library in April 1988.

The kids’mums had enrolled them in the library, which was located in Hamilton Old Parish Halls in Leechlee Road.
