Red card rage again for boss as Celtic sneak it
Lyon’s dismissal was key in defeat says Canning
Hamilton ...................... 1 Celtic ............................ 2

Fuming Hamilton boss Martin Canning says Darren Lyon’s controversial red card cost his side dearly in the 2-1 defeat against Celtic.
The New Douglas Park gaffer also claims his side were denied a first-half penalty when Jack Hendry appeared to push Danny Redmond inside the box.
Canning says indiscipline has cost his team in matches against Hibs and Celtic and says potential points from both games could have made all the difference in their fight to stay in the Premiership.
Lyon was shown two yellow cards in quick succession for a foul and a coming together with Celtic defender Kieran Tierney, with the second looking extremely harsh.
Canning said: “It’s the same as through the week [3-1 defeat at Hibs, with Dougie Imrie sent off ] and it was the same feelings.
“We were more than in the game at 1-1 and the red card changes things. It then becomes more difficult.
“I thought we should have been given a penalty as well.
“It would have been soft but given the way we had a player sent off, which was equally as soft, there was a shout for it.”
Lyon’s 41st-minute dismissal was a major talking point from the game – at the time Hamilton actually looked relatively comfortable against the champions-elect.
They were locked at 1-1 after Rakish Bingham had levelled Callum Mcgregor’s early opener and although Accies’ defence was posted missing as sub Leigh Griffiths
