Chapelton

Indoor Bowling Club The club ended its season with the playing of the finals and then a lovely tea was enjoyed by all. The winners were: Ladies singles winner – M Scott, runner-up – C Mackay; Gents singles winner – R Perratt, runner-up – G Lennox; Pairs winners – M Scott and G Lennox, runnersup – C Stewart and A Scott; Club championship winner – N Lennox, runner-up – J Bruce. The points winner was C Mackay. New members will be welcome when the 2018-19 season opens on October 2. Village Fair The annual Chapelton Village Fair will take place later this week. The charitable event is raising funds for St Andrew’s Hospice and all locals are welcome. Doors to Chapelton Church Hall will open from 7pm on Friday, May 4. Tickets cost £5 for adults and £2 for kids.

Camera Club The club’s year will finish with its prizegiving and annual exhibition in the Rankin Church main hall on Thursday, May 10.
