David Templeton hasn’t ruled out a new contract at Hamilton Accies but says it depends on what league they are in and what offers come in for him.

Temps, who scored his 10th goal of the season in the vital 2-0 win over Ross County on Saturday, says he will make serious consideration of his future – and has ambitions of playing overseas.

If no suitable offer comes in, and Accies maintain their Premiership future, then the talented winger might be tempted to stay on.

He said: “I’m not sure what I’m doing yet, to be honest, it’s something I need to think about.

“I have to get it right because I’ve made decisions before that haven’t worked out. So I need to sit with my wife and whatever I do, going forward, I need to make sure it’s the right thing.

“There is interest and it’s something I’ve got to get right, whether it’s staying here or going abroad or whatever. I’ve got to make sure it’s right for me and my family.

“I also need to make sure Accies are safe. Personally I don’t want to drop down a division, so I’m basically doing everything I can to help the club stay safe. Then from there I’ll have a look at it and see what’s right for me.

“Playing abroad is something I’ve always wanted to do. I’ve always been in Scotland and if something comes up that suits, I’ll have a serious think about it.

“At the same time, I’m enjoying it here. I’ll always owe the chairman, Ronnie
