Fun for all family at Stonehouse show
Livestock, scarecrow contest and funfair on offer
Stonehouse is preparing to host its annual agricultural show this weekend.
The event will be held at the showfield, Union Street, this Saturday (May 19).
There will be a range of activities and fun for all the family including livestock judging, main parade of winners, light horses and show jumping, a dog show, craft tent, vintage tractors, an open tug of war contest and dog agility, with the chance for members of the public to take their own dogs to have a go.
There will also be live entertainment and a funfair.
The show opens at 9am, judging from 10am. The dog show entries will be taken between 10 and 11am, with judging starting at 11.30am.
The tug of war will be at noon and the parade of livestock at around 1.30pm.
Organisers are also holding a scarecrow competition for local schools and community groups.
Entries must be at the showfield by tomorrow (Friday) at 6pm.
