The wedding of David Keir and Sharon Dunsmore

The couple

Sharon from Larkhall works as a fitness instructor with Lanark Lifestyles. Groom David from Larkhall is an HGV driver with Hamiltons of Larkhall.

Where they met

The couple met years ago as teenagers but got in touch again through Facebook years later.

The wedding

The ceremony was held at Cornhill Castle in Biggar on September 24, 2017. Their reception was also held at Cornhill Castle, and was attended by 50 family and friends during the day and 120 at night.

Attire

The bride wore an ivory gown by Sincerity, while David wore a kilt from Ceejays Kilt hire in Holytown .

Bridal party

Bridesmaids were Sharon the bride’s best friend, bride’s daughter Karly and niece Natalie. Best man was James Keir, the groom’s brother.

Honeymoon

The newlyweds travelled to Cyprus for their honeymoon.
