COMIC BOOK HEROES
Hundreds descended on Hamilton Town House for a super time at the weekend.
The venue hosted the inaugural Hamilton Comic Con on Saturday – and fans were not disappointed.
Dozens arrived in cosplay costumes, while children put on a fancy dress parade.
For collectors, there was the chance to peruse through a wide variety of memorabilia from dealers’stalls.
And little ones were kept amused with a Bookbug session featuring a range of arts and crafts opportunities.
Following the event’s success, organisers are hoping to“make it even bigger and better next time”.
Families had a super time on Saturday as Hamilton Comic Con swept into town.
Hundreds of people went along to Hamilton Town House for the funpacked event.
And dozens of fans – known as cosplayers – dressed up in their favourite costumes.
Youngsters enjoyed a fancy dress parade, while dozens of dealers sold comics, toys and film memorabilia.
And for the really young kids there was a Bookbug session and some arts and crafts where they could make their very own superhero capes and masks.
A spokesperson for the organisers said: “We hope to return next year and make it even bigger and better next time.”
Our snapper Douglas Mckendrick popped along on the day to capture some of the amazing costumes.
