Set sail for cruise ship holiday club at hall
A holiday club will begin next week (August 6), at Ebenezer Hall, Glenlee Street, Burnbank.
With free admission, the holiday club will run from August 6-10 for kids aged 5-12.
The club will feature activities for everyone such as games, prizes, bible stories and quizzes.
Last year the church held a holiday club with an Egyptian theme which turned out to be a huge success.
This year the club have decided to host a‘cruise ship’ theme to celebrate the summer holidays.
A spokesperson for the club said that they were really looking forward to all the summer fun.
They said:“we are hoping for a great turnout. It’s a cruise ship theme this year. fellowship following the service. Brew & Blether: Please join us for a cuppa and blether any Thursday between 10.30am and noon in the church hall. It would be lovely to see you and everyone is more than welcome.

The Ebenezer Hall also run a kids club every Monday from 6.30pm - 8pm.
Mega Mondays is for kids from P1 to S3 and features activities including table tennis, pool, table football, team games and crafts.
They also offer guitar lessons for S1-S3 kids.
Ebenezer Gospel Hall, Burnbank was founded around 1890 and was first situated in a small wooden hall in Pollock Street, Burnbank which was later replaced with a more substantial building.
In 1970 during redevelopment of the centre of Burnbank and after a short time in temporary premises, the present building in Glenlee Street was opened in 1972. we wish you a safe journey to all who have just returned we hope to see you soon.

Messy Church at St John’s Church will be held on Saturday, August 11, 10.30am to 12.30pm. The theme of this event is hidden treasurers. Each child must be accompanied by an adult.
The centre will re-open at 10am on Monday, August 20.
