four times that with the EU, these scenarios could be much worse if Scotland were ever to leave the UK.

We would also lose the Barnet subsidy, £13.4 billion last year, eight per cent of GDP. Thus in one year, without this subsidy, Scotland would lose more than her reputed loss under Brexit (£12.7bn to 2030) over a much longer period. I also despair of the constant mention of Scotland’s vote to stay in the EU.

This referendum was a UK referendum, not a Scottish vote, as the UK is the EU member.

It is the overall UK vote that is relevant, and that vote was to leave.

We did have a Scottish vote on independence, and two million people voted to remain in the UK as opposed to the 1.5 million who voted to remain in the EU in the Brexit vote.

The Scottish people really must waken up to the nonsense that these Nationalists constantly spout, and the absolute childish behaviour that they exhibit in Westminster.

They are quite simply an embarrassment to our country.

We should all get behind Brexit and ignore all the adverse comments that have originated from various sources since the EU vote, most of which have proved to be completely false.
