It was another busy week on the Hamilton Advertiser’s Facebook page.

Many of you commented on our story about the upcoming Tunnock’s Tea Cake Challenge being run by the organisers of Bothwell’s Scarecrow Festival.

The annual Teacake Challenge will take place on Sunday, September 16.

It will see participants gather at Bothwell Primary to scoff ten tea cakes each.

You’re thinking it will be easy – but there’s a catch.you will have to unwrap and eat them with just one hand.

The first to succeed in the quickest time will be the winner.

And the champ will also bag themselves some fabulous Tunnock’s merchandise.
