Fosters ready to be a part of community

-

Family-run Fosters Funeral Directors will be officially opening the doors of its brand-new Bellshill based parlour this Friday, September 7 at 10am.

Fosters, the independent family-run funeral directors, is expanding in North Lanarkshire and founder Tony Foster will have the honour of cutting the ribbon.

Tony originally opened over 10 years ago in Mauchline, and thereafter Cumnock, Rutherglen and most recently, Kilmarnock.

“I have had the honour to help many families in Bellshill over the last number of years from our Rutherglen parlour, and I am now pleased to be able to offer the same level of excellent customer care with a dedicated parlour serving Bellshill and the surrounding area” said Tony.

“It is an exciting time for Fosters as we aim to bring affordable funerals to many communities all over Scotland and Bellshill is a place I always wanted to open.”

Friday’s opening will give the community the chance to look behind the scenes of Fosters Funeral Directors and to meet the dedicated Fosters Bellshill team. There will also be food and drinks laid on for everyone who pops down.

Lorna Montgomery, who leads the Bellshill branch, is looking forward to welcoming as many people from the community on the day from 10am.

“We pride ourselves on being a family-run independent,” said Lorna.

“We offer a truly individual and personal service helping

you tailor the funeral that is best suited to your loved one’s needs at the best possible value.

“We are looking forward to our opening day and it is a real honour for Fosters to be able to serve the Bellshill community more closely.

“We will be here to meet anyone who wants to pop in, have a look around and talk to me or my team about the services we offer and ask any questions at all about the funeral industry.”

Fosters are renowned for being transparent with pricing using innovations such as their website Cost Calculator and Competitor Comparisons in order to encourage people to make sure they are giving their loved ones the best possible send off.

Lorna added: “The opening will be an opportunity for people to see for themselves the high-quality services we have to offer and find out about our low prices, which are as much as 40 or 50 per cent lower than those of our competitors without compromising on quality.”

Since 2005, Fosters Funeral Directors has been at the heart of the communities in North Lanarkshire and throughout Scotland.

Regular sponsors of community sporting events and clubs, Fosters will be raising money for St Andrew’s Hospice with various events and activities taking place throughout the year.

Fosters also like to be involved and support the local business community. “We’d like to thank the local businesses that have already welcomed us to the area and are supporting us in providing a range of hot and cold food” said Lorna.

We are looking forward to our opening day and it is a real honour for Fosters to be able to serve the Bellshill community more closely Lorna Montgomery
