There’s lots of fun for all in Fairhill...
Hundreds of people gathered to enjoy all the fun of Fairhill at the weekend.
The area’s annual fun day featured a range of attractions such as a Boogie Bus, a Clubbercise class, a magician and lots of fun for youngsters including a bouncy slide and face painting.
Hundreds of people headed to Fairhill last Saturday to enjoy the area’s annual fun day.
Now in its sixth year, the event was again a great success.
A bunch of dedicated residents first teamed up with Community Links (South Lanarkshire) in 2013 to put together a packed programme at Fairhill Lifestyles Centre.
Heather Robertson, Fairhill community development worker, said: “What an amazing day. It was great to see so many people come along and support the local community.
“We are so proud of the Fairhill Community Group and everything they have achieved this year. All their hard work has paid off as the fun fay was another huge success.
“Thank you to everyone who came along, we hope you all enjoyed it!”
Attractions included an owl, a magician, a clubbercise class, Universal Connection’s Boogie Bus, visits from Scottish Fire and Police Scotland and loads of stalls.
