Make a world of difference
The Hillhouse Community Group are inviting people to join them for a clean-up this Saturday, September 15.
This weekend, volunteers across the world will come together to rid the planet of trash by picking up litter and mismanaged waste from our streets, parks and greenspaces as part of World Clean-up Day.
Following the success of their previous event, the Hillhouse Community Group have decided to organise a clean-up.
There will be three events, with meet-up points at Hillhouse Community Centre, John Ogilvie High and the Burnbank Centre. Everyone is invited to come along and show support. Please meet at your preferred/nearest location at 10am and you will be given all the appropriate equipment – so there is no need to bring anything with you.
Following the clean-up, a light lunch and refreshments will be available at the Hillhouse and Earnock Community Centre from 1pm onwards.
