Landlord adviceat thelatest forum

The next meeting of South Lanarkshire Council’s Private Landlord Forum takes place tonight (Thursday, September 13) at 6pm.

There will be updates on tax changes update, first tier tribunals and Universal Credit.

Private landlords who want to come along should complete a booking form on the council’s website, and return to housing.strategy@ southlanarkshire.gov.uk.

Alternatively, bookings can be made on 01698 454346. Landlords who are unable to attend, but want information on the issues discussed can also get in touch via this number.

A spokesperson said: “These meetings are a great way to keep up to date with any changes that might have taken place/going to take place with legislation and the law, as well as hearing about other landlord experiences and good practices.

The meeting will run from 6pm-8pm, at the council offices, Almada Street, Hamilton.

On arrival, delegates will be asked to register, and a buffet, tea and coffee will be served.
