Innovative, but a bit of a grind

-

Throw in some Legostyle creativity and the survival demands of Minecraft and you’ll get an idea of what Terratech is all about.

Build, battle— then build better.

The game starts with you crash-landing on a barren planet, with only the basic of materials to start off with.

So, off you must go scavenging for parts — wheels, body blocks, weapons — from the roving, hostile vehicles you meet, constructing whatever vehicle style works best for you.

Soon, you’ll be mining for resources and building AI buddies to help with the fetching and gathering.

Sadly, despite continuous improvements since it first launched on PC, the presentation remains awfully dreary, the action is repetitive, and it takes a tiresome amount of trudge and grind before you ever see Terratech’s exciting true potential come to life.

Innovative, but only dedicated grinders will be rewarded.
