Jim Paxton, locum of our linked charge, will conduct our service on Sunday, October 28, at 10am. Our Sunday school meets during the service and we extend a warm welcome to everyone to come along to church. Today (Thursday ) once again The Memories Tearoom will be open. This is proving to be of real benefit to those who live with dementia and their carers. Why not drop in between 12.30pm and 3pm to enjoy a cup of tea/coffee a blether and good company. Letters from a Desert Rat is the speaker’s topic at the next meeting of The Lyndale Club on Tuesday, October 30, at 7.30pm.

Our Sunday school are holding a coffee morning on Saturday, November 3, between 10 and noon. Please show your support by coming along to join in the fun. Advance notice of the united service which is being held in our sister church, Hamilton West at 10.45am on Remembranc­e Sunday, November 11. In addition our church bells will be rung at 7.05pm as will church bells all over the country to mark 100 years since the end of World War One. Orders can now be placed for afternoon tea in a bag and cinema trays both are quite novel. Why not settle down to watch Strictly Come Dancing on a Saturday night with one of our cinema trays filled with goodies or surprise someone with all the necessary items to have a lovely afternoon tea? Our coffee lounge is open every weekday between 10am and noon we would love to serve you.
