Blantyre’s St Andrew’s Parish Church invite you to join them for a time of quiet reflection on Saturday, December 1 in the church from 8am to 9.30am.

The church will celebrate the sacrament of Holy Communion on Sunday, December 2. This will be a joint service with Livingstone Memorial Church and will be held at Livingstone at 11.30 am. The service will be led by Rev Murdo Macdonald.

The Sanctus Praise service, when the congregations of Blantyre and Hamilton come together once a month will also be held on Sunday, December 9 and will be held at Blantyre Congregational Church at 7pm. Refreshments will be served prior to the service at 6.30pm. The theme of the service is‘the Fruits of the Spirit - Patience’.

The Tuesday tea room will be open on Tuesday, December 4, from 10am to 12pm for teas, coffees and home baking.

Lastly a reminder that the annual Christmas concerts by the Lanarkshire Cecilian Orchestra will be held at St Andrew’s on Wednesday, December 5, and again on Thursday, December 6.

They will be joined by The Wee Sing Big Choir on the Wednesday evening and the children of Auchinraith Primary School Choir on the Thursday evening. Tickets for this concert are now available from the Church office or at the door on the night at a cost of £7 or £5 concession.
