Holy Cross High award winners
The young people from Holy Cross High gathered together before the summer break to mark another year of achievement.
Family, friends and staff all gathered for the annual lower school awards ceremony.
And guest of honour this year was Eddie Morrison, former head teacher of St John Ogilvie High.
He delivered an inspirational speech on the theme ‘Teams and dreams’ and told the youngsters to be the best they could and never give up.
Other guest included Stewart Nicholson, head of education for South Lanarkshire Council and in charge of the Hamilton schools; Richard Lyle MSP; and Denise Mcghie, the chair of the parent council.
Head teacher Carla Fagan said: “Many of our primary school head teachers and their teaching colleagues and several members of the parent council were also in attendance.
“Many thanks to all the parents, carers and family members who came along and made this a special evening, and well done to all our award winners.”
