We will meet for prayers in the church on Tuesday and Thursday of this week. Please hold in your prayers our members in Birksburn Avenue.

The Paterson Church Coffee Morning is every Tuesday, 10am-11.30am in the church hall.

Hope Cafe is cancelled today (Thursday, August 8) but will be on as usual on Thursday, August 22, from 10am-2pm.

Holiday Club will take place in the church hall on Friday, August 9. Leaders are in need of help, and it doesn’t matter your age, sex or agility, they will find you something to do. Please contact May Fairley if you can help.

The next Guild Craft night will be on Monday, August 12, at 7.30pm.

Book Club will meet on Sunday, August 18. Book for the month is A Street Cat Named Bob by James Bowen.

The Guild trip will be going to St Andrews on Saturday, September 7. Please pay Joyce Millar any time now.

Thanks to the helpers who came along to help with cleaning of the halls and toilet areas.

John Young had requested some help with the gardens and outside paths (etc) and one person turned up – that was John himself.

He is on holiday now, and has made an appeal for help to pick up and bag the waste that he gathered, as he ran out of time and energy.

George Mathieson cuts the grass and George Grey and Eleanor Mcneil used to help, but now it’s only John. If you feel that you can assist, please feel free to do so – it will be much appreciated.

If you know of anyone who is ill or in hospital, let Ann Anderson know and the church will send flowers or visit.
