HAMILTON BAPTIST CHURCH

The services on Sunday (August 11) at 10.45am and 6.30pm will be led by the senior pastor, David Wilson.

The morning service will be followed by light refreshmen­ts in the church halls. After the morning service, two members of the congregati­on will be available to pray with anyone feeling the need of prayer.

The senior citizens are holding an afternoon tea and time of fellowship on Monday, August 19, at 2 pm.

The church’s big day out to Kelburn Country Park will be on Saturday, August 24.

The church has a Youtube Channel which is showing both live and recorded church services – search on Youtube for “Hamilton Baptist Church”.

BLANTYRE LIVINGSTON­E MEMORIAL CHURCH

Rev. Murdo Macdonald will lead us in worship on Sunday, August 11 at 10am in St Andrew’s Parish Church.

Please note the forthcomin­g Summer United Services: Summer worship, we will worship in St Andrew’s Church at 10am in the month of August then celebrate Holy Communion on September 1, in St Andrew’s Parish Church at 10am.

Brew & Blether continue meeting every Thursday between 10.30am and noon in the church hall. It would be lovely to see you for a cuppa and a wee blether. Everyone will be made most welcome.

DALSERF CHURCH

Sunday Worship on August 11, will take place in Dalserf Church at 11.30am. The service will be conducted by Reverend John Stevenson.

On Saturday our Teas take place in Hamilton Hall, Dalserf Village from noon – 4pm. We will meet every Saturday till August 31. Come along and join us and enjoy good food, good company and Christian fellowship.

HAMILTON WEST PARISH CHURCH

Please note that there will be no services at the West in the month of August we will be joining with or linked partners at 10.45am each week in August for joint services led by John Nicolson reader, all are welcome to come and join us in our services.

QUARTER PARISH CHURCH

On Sunday our morning worship will be led by Lynette Jardine at the usual time of 9.45am, please come along and join us in worship. Georgie Macmillan will also lead a service of worship at Abbeydale Care Home on Sunday at 2.30pm and welcomes you to join her.

ST JOHN’S CHURCH HAMILTON

Time to worship morning service will be led by Rev Joanne Hood at 10.30am on Sunday, August 11, at St John’s Church Hamilton. Drew Gebbie has started his new probatione­ry period at St John’s. The sundown service will be held at 8.30pm.

Messy Church- A Home for All- will be held on Saturday, August 10, at 10.30am to 12.30pm. All children must be accompanie­d by an adult.

Mission Rescue Holiday Club for 5-12 year olds will be held from Monday, August 5, to Friday, August 9, each morning from 9.30am to 12.30pm. Come along and enjoy the programme which includes fun, games, Bible stories and quizzes.

The Centre is closed but will re-open on Monday, August 19, at 10am.

ST JOHN THE BAPTIST CHURCH, UDDINGSTON

Are you hungry for God in your life? Are you curious what the catholic religion is all about? Wonder what we believe? What our services are like and why? We begin our RCIA process with an enquiry night and you would be made most welcome in a small group or as an individual initially if you prefer. We are a nice group happy to talk about our loving God and would be delighted to meet you. Why not come along on Tuesday, August 27, at 7.30pm in the small hall?

A final payment meeting will be held at 7pm on Sunday, August 11, for those going on pilgrimage to the Holy Land in September. Two places are available.

You are daily welcomed by Fr Towey at the beginning of each service and are remembered in our prayers.

On Monday the padre pio prayer group meet after the 9.30am mass and a silent prayer vigil for life is held from 8pm to 9pm. The SVDP meet at 6pm on Tuesdays. On Wednesdays a Divine Mercy Hour begins at 7pm in the Oratory and a Prayer and Praise Group from 8pm-9pm. A.A. meeting at 8pm in the hall.

The prayer garden is open Mondays to Saturdays 10am-7pm. Church cleaning is on Friday mornings after mass if anyone would like to help. Tea is served in the hall after morning mass and all are welcome.

Sunday masses: vigil 4.30pm, 10am, noon, 6pm. Weekday mass: 9.30am. Rosary : 9.10am daily. Confession­s: Saturday 9- 9.25am and after vigil mass.

HAMILTON OLD PARISH CHURCH

Our service this Sunday, August 11, is at 10.45am with worship being led by Rev Ross Blackman.

We look forward to welcoming the children from the Holiday Club to see what they’ve been up to. Creche available for our younger members during the service.

HAMILTON UNITED REFORMED CHURCH

On Sunday, August 11 our service will begin at 11.30am and be led in worship by Reverend Lindsey Sanderson, minister of Hamilton/east Kilbride Pastorate of United Reformed Church.
