The Wall’s still on song
There’s a string of tribute shows set to be held at Motherwell Concert Hall over the next few months.
To celebrate the 40th anniversary of Pink Floyd’s iconic The Wall album, the nation’s favourite Floyd act are returning to Lanarkshire on August 17.
Macfloyd are an eight piece band from Scotland who over the last decade have grown from strength to strength as one of the best tribute bands in the world.
With a line up of talented musicians and singers, and an impressive light show, Macfloyd bring their experience and enthusiasm to deliver one of the best Pink Floyd shows.
They will also perform a“best of”this Pink Floyd masterpiece as well as other classics from The Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here and many more.
In a show lasting over two hours the fans will see an impressive light and laser display alongside stunning visual effects.
You can also re-live the sounds of the swinging 60s, as Britain’s number one tribute show brings alive the magic of the era.
The Counterfeit Sixties Show, on September 7, encompasses everything from that period, from the clothes that were worn, to flashbacks from television history, including TV programmes, adverts and even clips from the original bands.
The Counterfeit Sixties presents a showcase of the great bands of this unforgettable time.
The fantastic music of The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Who, The Dave Clark Five, The Kinks and The Monkees – to name but a few – all recreated in this stunning show.
The band members have performed their unique tribute shows all over the UK and abroad, and have a wide range of experience in that field.
The members of the band have individually worked with notable sixties’ artists such as The Searchers, The Ivy League, The Fortunes, The Tremeloes and many more.
