Popular school picture feature is back

-

Pupils will return to school this week as the summer holidays come to an end.

And for some youngsters, it will be extra exciting as it will be their first day of school life.

Over the next few weeks, the Advertiser will be showcasing First Day at School pictures.

Our popular feature is back and we want to see your youngsters looking resplendent in their school uniforms, all set for that big day.

Whether it is at home before they set off or sitting at their new desk at school, then we want to see them.

Or it could be that they will be heading off to school with their brothers or sisters, friends or cousins.

If you would like your child featured, send us a photograph and include your little one’s name, age and what primary school they are attending.

Please remember to include a daytime telephone number.

Send your pictures to news@ hamiltonadvertiser.co.uk or private message us on our Facebook page.

A range of pictures will be selected each week and will be printed in the Advertiser.

Hamilton Advertiser editor Robert Mitchell is delighted the picture special is back and said: “This is an incredibly popular feature and we are looking forward to printing all of your little ones’ pictures.

“We will do our very best to feature all of the photographs that you send in to us.

“It’s a great opportunity for proud parents to share their special day with all the family with something that becomes a keepsake for the child involved.”

Pictured is Abbie Curran, aged five, who is all set to start St Anne’s Primary School in Hamilton today (Thursday, August 15).
