The wedding of Mark Coyle and Lynn Maxwell

The couple

Mark, originally from Bishopbrig­gs, works with CST in Hamilton as a lab operator and Lynn, of Hamilton, works as an interior designer with Silver Birch Interiors.

The couple now live in the town’s Houston Street.

When they met

The pair met nine years ago on July 11, 2010, at T in the Park, Ballado.

The wedding

The ceremony took place in Villa Regina Tedolinda in Lake Como, Italy on Saturday, May 25, 2019.

The Italian section was conducted by the Major of Laglio and Victoria Lutterodt who translated on the day.

It was then followed by a Scottish humanist section conducted by close friend and humanist Alan Barr, with 65 family and friends joining them in Italy for the wedding.

The couple then had an evening reception on Friday, June 21, 2019, at the Parkville in Blantyre.

Attire

The bride wore an Australian-designed dress by Chosen - One Day Bridal, while the groom wore the Mark Coyle Tartan designed by his wife-to-be as a gift.

The tartan was brought together and patented by Siobhan Mackenzie a multi award-winning Scottish fashion designer.

Honeymoon

The couple will enjoy a honeymoon later in the year.

Bridal party

Maid of Honour was Lynn’s younger sister Vicki Toner-maxwell and bridesmaid was Lynn’s cousin Donna Magee, both from Hamilton. Best man was Mark’s brother, Garry Coyle, with ushers Lynn’s brother Craig Maxwell, and Mark’s good friend Tariq Saleem.

Flowergirl was their niece Eilidh Maxwell and pageboys were their twin sons Aiden and Jacob Coyle and nephew Byron Maxwell.

Flowers

Flowers and decor was done by Barbara from Barbara Botti Fiori in Gravedona Lake Como.

Cake

The cake was provided by the Villa Regina Tedolinda.

Hair and make-up

Hair was by Morag Saleem from Priory Hair & Beauty in Bellshill and make-up by Nicola Li a beauty therapist from Airdrie, both of whom, are Lynn’s close friends.

Thanks

Mark and Lynn would like to thank Lynn’s mum and dad Margo and Sam Maxwell, Mark’s mum Anne Collister and all their family and friends who travelled to Lake Como to celebrate with them, it meant the world to them to have everyone there.
