Stninian’s Church

We will meet for prayers in the church on Tuesday and Thursday of this week. Please hold in your prayers the folks in Gibb Court.

The Paterson Church coffee morning is every Tuesday, 10am-11.30am in the church hall.

Coffee at St Ninian’s starts back on Tuesday, September 3 at 10am.

Hope Cafe Too is on Thursday, August 29, 7pm-9pm.

The Guild trip will be going to St Andrews on Saturday, September 7. Please pay Joyce Millar any time now, and order your meal. There are a few seats left on the bus if anyone would like to join us.

Anchor Boys and Explorers leaders will be registering new starts on Wednesday, August 28, at 6pm. Girls’ Brigade resumes on Tuesday, September 3, Boys’brigade on Wednesday, September 4.

Strathaven Trinity Church are hosting a volunteer training event on Saturday, September 14, 10am-noon. This is for volunteers working in a church organisation with children, young people or vulnerable adults. Please contact Douglas Thompson ASAP if you would like to attend.

Bags for Sunday School will be collected on Thursday, October 3, but can be handed in to the church hall on Wednesday, October 2, between 6.30pm and 9pm.

Upper Room daily reading books are available in the vestibule, £2 each.

The new rota for readings and prayers is now in circulation, there are copies at the front door and Anne Thompson will be handing them out.

Anyone willing to assist with a Work Party, please speak to Bob, to arrange a suitable date.

If you know of anyone who is ill or in hospital, let Ann Anderson know and the church will send flowers or visit.
